Fully furnished, and with wifi, this is an excellent short-term rental for visiting scholars to Penn, Drexel and Art Museum and University hospitals as well as to other visitors to Philadelphia. It is a very quiet location with large windows and good light. The kitchen is recently modernized. There is also a small laundry machine and dryer. The bathroom is beautifully tiled and has a deep-soak tub and shower. It has a very comfortable, queen-size double bed. Powelton Village is one of Philadelphia's most beautiful neighborhoods, and Baring Street is one of its most beautiful streets, with large trees and grand houses.

The apartment is only minutes walk from the University of Pennsylvania campus, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Schuylkill Banks River Park, with its great bike and running paths, and to so many other great sites. There are many supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and activities. Parking is easy, and there are also bike shares and car shares within a block. It is on the third floor, accessed by stairs, so it is not handicapped accessible. Pets are not permitted.
